It’s In The Details!! Book Release HOP

Welcome to my little part of cyber space where you get to see a peek of what I had the pleasure of being a part of.
I am excited to announce my participation and publication in the latest book in the series, the Copic Coloring Guide, Level 4: Fine Details!

Authors Colleen Schaan and Marianne Walker have partnered up again with the team at Annie’s and some of the most talented artists and designers in the industry to bring you a quality publication packed full of techniques, theory, tutorials, and inspiration.  The 64-page book is the latest in the Coloring Guide series, offering information and educational material for crafters of all skill levels.
From light source to shading and shadows, to mixing mediums and tackling detailed images, this book shows how to take your coloring up one notch further… by focusing on the fine details.  All of the information is presented in an easy-to-follow format.
An included CD contains all of the hand-drawn images used in the tutorial section of the book, along with the assembly instructions for all of the projects.
Each participating designer is hopping today to give you a peak at their favorite project from the book – and a chance to WIN your own autographed copy!
I was so over the moon when they told me they accepted 3 of my cards for this publication.  Here is one that I would like to show you.  This is a Robin Red Breast.  I used no-line-stamping, alcohol brushed background with palette blending for this card and can’t wait for you to grab the book and get all the information about it.
You can obtain the rubber stamp HERE at talkaboutimpressions.com
Do you want a little peek at my other creations?  Of course you do.  Then you can search the book for my other cards.  Be on the lookout for…

To help kick off the celebration of the new book… each designer on the hop is giving away an autographed copy of the book…signed not only by Colleen and Marianne, but by the individual designer too!  Please comment on this post for your chance to win your copy of mine!  Commenting will be closed June 30th.  My winners will be announced on my blog on June 31st…snicker..okay I was trying to keep the book for myself as there is no June 31st.  How about the 1st of July you check back and see if you are a winner!
Here are the other amazing, talented, hard working, creative ladies who are also in the book.
Can’t wait for your copy?
Copic Coloring Guide Level 4: Fine Details is now available at many stamping and scrapbooking stores. Visit your local store today and ask about availability.  It is also sold through the Annie’s catalog, accessible online at Annie’s.

  8. Very beatiful card. I would love to have this book, as I do have other Annie's Copic Coloring Books. I am rusty at doing copic shading, as all my card making supplies have been stashed away for a little over two years with our busy lifes of building our own home. We are now in, but have lots of outside projects to finish, so card making is on the back burner, as our summer is so short and the snow will be flying soon.
