Paper Testing Creation – Asp Tips

I have been working on this for the last 3 days…between baby’s naps.  3 days later here is the end result.  I used a NEW to me paper that I was experimenting with.  Wan’t to hear about the paper?  You can find info below…You KNOW I love testing papers!  This piece measures 4″ x 8″

Have you tried Copic Writeable Cover Sketchbook?  UMMM..well you should.  It is a lightweight paper, but heavier then copier paper.   It goes through the printer so nicely.   It is a good weight for handling ink and even though it showed through on the backside (but who is looking?), it didn’t bleed onto the paper underneath with general blending.  It took lots of ink, but because of the tight woven paper didn’t bleed outside of the lines.  I will use this more in the future.  It is spiral bound and comes in two sizes.

  1. Oh my gosh, when I started reading your post I thought, why in the world is Jennifer sharing an Asparagus recipe with us. That is how real your color is – didn't even know it wasn't a real picture. You are just so amazing I am always so happy to see your posts. More color combinations please. Would love a few tags for backgrounds too.
