New Release

Whimsy has just released this incredible stamp called Butterfly Background.  Creating this card was so easy.  I bet you do not believe me do you?  These backgrounds with all the dots give you the shading but also allow you to blend without worrying if the blend is perfectly smooth.

Creating the card

After coloring up this background I stamped a second time and colored a few of the butterflies, and then colored and cut them out.  Using Velum I covered the background to mute the colors.  I die cut the Notched Rectangle frame in black and placed it over the top of the background.  This also allowed for a good place to place hide he adhesive.   The fabulous shadow die “Thanks” was the perfect addition.  I then popped up the two large butterflies over the top.  Wanting a slightly smaller butterfly, I added one of the butterflies from the other Whimsy new release “Butterflies Fluttering“.  I finished the card off with a few white drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops.
