Good Egg

You, my friend, are a “Good Egg”!

I had such a fun time creating this card with the gray, white and blue color scheme. This card reminds me of getting lost in an overgrown garden because of the fun lattice, vines and flowers. Isn’t this a cheery card?

La-La Land Crafts has done it again! You are going to be heading to the La-La Land store when you are done with this post because you are going to LOVE these products. I was so excited I squealed a little…and then a little more!

Creating the Card

I started creating this card with no idea on what direction it was going to go. The cute images from Poultry in Motion were colored with Copic’s and fussy-cut out, but that was the farthest planning I had gotten done. La-La Land has so many die options so the rest of the design was not hard to come by.

I started with the Scalloped Rectangle layer and added some wood grain paper on top of it. After die cutting the Large Stitched Tags , I stamped it with the NEW delicious Oopsie Daisy background stamp using distress ink. Creating the cluster for the sweet chicks and egg was so much fun. I die cut the NEW Garden Fence and colored it with my Copic markers. After creating the “flower box” using the die, I added the grass, flowers and little chicks that were also part of the latest release. The Lattice Bracket die was a perfect addition and a great place for the vines to come out of. To finish off the card I used my most used Flag Banner die, and the sweet sentiment that comes in the clear stamp set Poultry in Motion.
