Sun Fun – Just4FunCrafts

I love when every image in a set is a good one don’t you? This Hippo Beach Fun set by illustrator Dustin Pike is a winner! They have been selling out so fast I thought I would give you a heads up that it is currently available in the Whimsy Stamps online store. Actually both the hippo sets are now available.

Creating the Card

After coloring this sun bathing hippo I cut her out. The sand was created using one of the dies from the Kinetic Waves Straight set and both of the sand layers are popped up onto two layers of another die from the same set. Of course this made the card a tad bulky, but gave it fabulous dimension.

All the layers were added to an airbrushed cloud background, and card was completed by adding the sentiment to the sun from Up in the Clouds set of dies.
