Have you checked out the whole Polka Dot Pal selection of clear stamps at Whimsy Stamps? The bang you get for your buck is amazing. Illustrator Barbara Sproatmeyer makes each set so adorable. I love being able to use the main character on a card, or if I prefer I can just use the elements like this card that I just created. So many options with these stamps and the fact that these are interchangeable between sets makes them even better.
This card is anything but vanilla! A little chocolate and strawberry were added.
Using the popsicle from the Polka Dot Pal Kezia I random stamped the image onto blending cardstock. A little hint, when random stamping it is always a good idea to stamp images off the edge of the paper too. This makes it look like a background paper.
Once it was all colored up, I used the Zig Zag Stitched rectangle die to die-cut it out, and then I adhered it to the card base. The sentiment in this set was perfect, and I plopped it smack-dab almost in the middle of the card using foam pop up tape. Using the Bold ABC dies I created the additional words and then popped them up around “Scrumptious”. The colors resembled the colors chosen for the popsicles.
Super fun products and card don’t you think? And who doesn’t love ice cream!
