You Need an UGH! – Just4FunCrafts

Happy New Year!! Yeti or not, here it comes. The NEW Whimsy release is here, and this Yeti set is just adorable. I figured you probably needed a big Ugh to start off the new year. Was I right?

Creating This Card:

Simple, yet so striking don’t you think? From this clear stamp set I chose the Yeti with the string of hearts for this card, and colored and hand-cut him out. To create the layers I die cutting the white cardstock using the Extreme Postage die, and then ran it through using an old Cuttlebug embossing folder I had in my stash. This layer was then placed on a dark brown layer to make it pop off the white card base.

The word UGH was die cut using the fun UGH Word and Shadow die set, and popped up off the front panel. Once the UGH was in place I popped up the Yeti. I added a simple sentiment that I created on the computer toward the top of the card for balance. I didn’t think the card needed any more distraction, and left the image as the focus. Done and done!

Everything is currently available in the Whimsy store, and I know you will want to get your hands on them before they sell out. This set, Yeti for Love, is perfect for everyday, but also highlights Valentines Day, so very multipurpose. You will love it!
