I have created another cat card, but this time I added some fabulous mushrooms to go along with it, and I think they go perfectly together. The mushroom die set makes way for so many pretty cards, and can be used on its own or with stamp sets.
Creating this Card:
I used a bunch of cool products to create this card, and you will want to check them all out. The background is actually created with a rubber stamp called Cross Stitched Hearts. Don’t you think this stamp would look fabulous in all colors?
For the focus of the card I thought the mushroom idea was the perfect compliment for the wheelbarrow concept. The mushrooms were created using the Build a Fairy Garden die set.
If you look in the photo you can see that most the mushrooms just require the base and the top piece to complete it. The largest mushroom has two different options.
Do you see the mushroom showing the underside and not just the top of it? I have made this step- by-step to show you how this was created.
Once the large mushroom was added to the card, I stamped, colored, and cut out the wheelbarrow. This layer was then popped up, and the die cut bone-fish from the Fish and Mice borders was added to the inside of it.
Now to add the featured kitty cat to the card. By tucking the cat behind the wheelbarrow it will give it more dimension, and then more mushrooms were added to finish it up.
