Across the Miles

For all you die-cut fanatics out there, this one is for you. I used one new item on this card, and the rest I gathered from my stash of dies. I love the look of this card, and wished I had better lighting for the photo, but here it is anyways. To compliment the sky paper, some quick and simple coloring on the swan was all it took to bring this card together,

Creating this Card:

I started out by adding some light shading in the blues for the swan from the Animal Tiles stamp set. The base of the card was some cloud paper from my stash. I die cut the Woodland Cottage twice, and then I snipped off the windmill pieces from the cottage. Using bits and pieces of the two die-cut pieces I created the layers, and then popped up the swan off the front of them. Whimsy Stamps has some great “edgers” (or borders), and for this card I used the clouds in the Grass and Cloud Edger die set. To finish it off I added the sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Strips clear stamps set.
