Looking for something elegant?  This rubber stamp is just that, and quite easy to color.  The simple layout brings attention to the main image, with only a single word to express thanks.  This stamp is in the current Whimsy Stamps release, and now available to purchase.

Creating this Card:

No matter how many times I tell people these types of images are easy to color, they just don’t get it until they give it a try.  Images with so much detail makes blending less work, and actually sometimes will give you the areas that potentially should be dark or light.

After coloring up this image I hand cut around the lower flowers , because this allows the use of a die cut without cutting off the flowers.  All you do is slip the die under the lower petals, and over the upper portion of the image Mountain Columbine.  I hand cut the mountains as well.

This layer was placed over another layer of white cardstock that was die cut using the Corner Rectangle die set.  After layering up the card, I added a simple ribbon to the top.  The sentiment was the main die from the Thanks Word and Shadow die set.
