As I tell my kid…”don’t cry over spilled milk”, but it is a totally different story if you drop your ice cream. This fun card was created using a special new stamp set that you can use not only for a card, but also a fun game in a tin . How many of you carry a little game in your pocket for those moments a little one needs some entertainment? You will be the hit of the party if you do.
Creating this Card:
For this card I used the Comic Burst die to die cut the beautiful pink Bandana paper, and then popped it up onto the embossed back cardstock. If you look closely you will see I used the Thatched embossing folder to create more interest, and some texture to the black.
The sentiment from the set was added to the white framed panel as a base for the ice cream, and then was popped up using foam pop up tape. Once I colored, and hand-cut out the ice cream, it was popped up off the sentiment base. The Connected Hearts Frame die was then tucked behind the ice cream image to frame to the ice cream.
Once again I used the slimline Hearts die just for the hearts themselves, and not for the panel that they come out of. Who needs a ton of heart punches when you have so many different size hearts in one die.
