This stamp set is at the top of my list. I love the cute little images, that are quick and easy to color, as well and the perfect sentiments. Being a heavy equipment operator by trade, means I have a soft spot in my hearts for any big metal rigs (or stamps) with wheels and tracks. Makes me want to move some dirt!
This one sat colored up on my desk waiting for the card layout to pop into my head, and yesterday it popped.
Creating this Card:
After stamping the Hearts Forever background using my delicious stamp pad, I placed it on a dark brown layer, and then onto the card base. I used my favorite Bandana paper packet for the rest of the pattern layers. The background was separated with the fun Extreme Postage die layer to give it a bit more eye appeal, although might be a bit too busy, I went with it anyways. I colored up the little pickup from Farming Fun, and place it on a panel that I colored to represent fields. The final touch was the sentiment, and after I stamped and layered it up, I placed it on a Long Flag panel to bring the theme of the Newtons Nook Inky Paws challenge into play. You can check out the challenges on their blog HERE.
