Do you love elephants? I know I do, and the latest Whimsy release has the sweetest little elephant stamp set. Two elephants were used to create this generic themed card, and it can be used for so many occasions. I do think it is just AWESOME!
Creating the Card:
I just love plaid and dot papers, so I am super thrilled Whimsy just came out with a paper packet that features them. You will find the 6×6 Mix-n-Match 1 paper packet now available through the store, and it has not only dots, plaid, but also stripes. By using strips of the different papers, and adhering them together, you can create your own backgrounds like I did here for this card.
After creating the background paper, I die-cut the front panel with the Wonky Windows 4 die. The word “awesome” was die cut out of the center piece using the Awesome Word die, and then I placed a purple piece of cardstock under the word panel. This panel was then popped up onto the card in the center. The elephants were colored up, hand cut out, and popped up onto the card front. A few complimenting Nuvo drops were added to the sentiment panel, and are a perfect way to create more interest on a card in a simple way.

Just adorable, and wonderful colors and coloring.
I love the way you used the plaid papers behind the die. That looks really cool!
