Sometimes we just have to grab an older favorite stamp, and make it come to life. This has always been a favorite image of mine. It is an easy stamp to color as well because the lines in the stamp show you where the light and dark markers colors should be placed. I am continuing to play around with the OLO Markers too. Yes, I am still loving them (incase you are wondering).
Creating this Card:
The first thing was to die cut the Scalloped Edge Pocket die piece out of white cardstock. Using the CP Martini stamp pad, I stamped it with the Scratchy Plaid background stamp. The Scallop Edge Pocket die has a center layer and if you use it, you can create a window in the pocket. Using my OLO Markers, I colored the Raccoon up and placed it underneath the window opening, popping up the “frame”. This feature layer was placed onto the Mix n Match Neutral striped paper, and adhered to the card base. The awesome word and shadow die, HELLO, was cut out of white cardstock, and colored with my OLO Markers to match. I ended up coloring one more set of leaves to add to the words.
I hope you can find some old-but-not-forgotten stamps to play with too.

I love raccoons and this one has the most adorable face. I had to stop immediately and order it. I love your card. Of course, anything that you color is awesome. So much talent. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Carole, that is super sweet! You will love this stamp. Thank you for leaving a comment for me 🙂
