Let the mad-dash commence! The latest mini release from Whimsy just went live, and I can guarantee that this release wont last long! Go! Go! Go! Check the full release out HERE, then come back and check out what I created. Heavens to Betsy, I have some fun samples to show you this week. This cow and milk can is killing’ me!!
Creating this Card:
The first thing was to die cut the Milk Can twice in white (for the front and base layer), and again in the purple dot pattern paper from the Mix n Match paper packet. I cut the lower portion of the milk can, as well as the “lid” and handles” using my favorite Bandana paper pack. All the pattern paper was assembled for the front of the card, and then adhered to the white cardstock cut-outs. I made a hinge inside to create the front and the back, so that it opens up like a card.
I added some shadows to the front of the milk jug using my OLO Markers. After coloring the main image I hand cut it out, but you can purchase the outline die to make it easier. Little Ms. Sassy Pants (the cow) was colored with OLO Markers, then popped up on the front of the card. I added a fun sentiment from the stamp set. Be sure and check out all the little snarky sayings for a laugh.
I finished the card by adding a large sentiment using the Heavens to Betsy word die set.
If y’all don’t head to the store now, y’all are plum crazy!
