This card is for the dogs. I am still on a dog kick, and thought this made the cutest thank you card. I love the new large stamps, with complimenting outline die. I am kinda “digging” this color combo too!
I hadn’t had a chance to use this adorable Wiener dog stamp set quite yet, too thought I would grab it out of my little pile and color it up. I have a soft spot in my heart for Dachshunds, as I have owned one and just loved her. They are full of so much love and character.
Creating this Card:
After creating my own spotted background paper using my Catherine Pooler stamp pad, and the Roarsome Skin background rubber stamp, I layered it onto the brown and teal cardstock. I added a smaller piece of the Neutral – Mix n Match striped paper to the top, and separated it with the thin popped up sentiment strip. Next I stamped the large word from the Many Thanks clear stamp set, and die cut it using the outline die. This layer was popped up off the card. The image from Doggie Did It was colored with my OLO markers, and then hand cut out. I popped him up behind the large sentiment.
Here is a fun thing to do. If you are stamping a solid stamp, and your ink didn’t cover it completely, color the missed spots in with a complimenting colors. It will look intentional. Look at the teal color in the Thanks word. Fun huh?!

This is really cute! Love it.
You said you used the OLO markers. Will you be having classes on them instead of Copics? I would love to attend one of your classes again. Just wondering, in your opinion, is it worth starting over and collect OLO markers instead of refilling my copics? They seem to be drying out alot.
I love waiting to see what you have colored next. You out do yourself each time. Beautiful work. Thank you
