We can all be a bit wild about this new release from Whimsy Stamps! A little bit for everyone, from stamps, hot plates, fabulous dies and even some new blending brushes. I chose to showcase some of the great lion dies for this card, but you will want to check out the whole release HERE.
Creating the Card:
I had a bit of fun with the new Blending Brushes from Whimsy Stamps, and the delicious Catherine Pooler ink pads. After stamping the background using the Cosmic Half Tone Oval background rubber stamp, I blending over it with the ink. The darker ink was on the outer edge and the lighter in the center. I love the gradient look.
Once the background was done, I die cut the lion from Generations die set, and placed it into the die cut Film Strip. I added a few tuffs of grass from the No-See All Seasons Tree die set to ground the objects. The large white sentiment comes from the Free Spirit clear stamp set, and the “U” and “R” is from the Bold ABC dies.
