YES! I love new releases! Whimsy Stamps just release a SUPER new mini release of stamps and dies. You can check out the release HERE. I thought I would create a fun “snarky” card using the Oh Snap! stamp set. I wanted the comic book feel for this card. For comic book coloring the blend of colors isn’t really a thing. Instead you want to just place the darker shade in the shadow area and leave it alone. Super…I mean SUPER easy coloring.
Creating this Card:
Okay another quick and easy card. Layer the Mix n Match black dot paper onto a black mat, and then onto the card base. I stamped the Snap! sentiment onto white cardstock and colored it in with my OLO markers. When you cut it make sure it’s adjusted to the right of the piece. Next I die cut “OH” using there Bold ABC die set and layered it onto a black die cut piece to help it stand out. This was placed to the left side of “snap”. All the elements were set amongst the cool insets from the Mini Slim Pickens die. I used white cardstock and just colored them with the colors of the card theme.
After coloring the main image, I popped her up off the upper portion of the card, and then stamped the great sentiment from the set. This was layered and added to the card front.
In my opinion no card is complete without some complimenting Nuvo Crystal Drops, so a few were added here and there to break up the large areas of solid cardstock.
