Drink…Be Merry

It is the season! Okay not really, not quite yet, but it is the perfect time to get your hands on products in order to get ready for the season. Catherine Pooler just launched the Christmas release, and you will not want to miss it. I am blessed to be as guest designer for this release , so this week will be full of Catherine Pooler products for you to drool over. I hope this stamp set gives you a little chuckle.

Creating this Card:

I thought this sentiment was perfect for a this Drink and Be Merry card. The sentiment comes from a great clear stamp set called Merriest Sentiments, and is a great one to have in your stash for the holiday cards. After random stamping the background I added some sequins from the Vienna Sequin Mix. I combined it with the Naughty List clear stamps because this little pup looks full of trouble.

After stamping the background using the stamps in the set Merriest Sentiments, and the Catherine Pooler stamp pads I die cut it out and layered it on complimenting cardstock. The sentiment was stamped and the word “eat” was crossed out (for a giggle). After layering the sentiment I popped it up off of the card front. The image was colored using my OLO Markers, and then cut out. In order to keep him as the focal image I popped him up of the sentiment.
