Trick or Squeak

This little ornery rat is knocking at your door with a big hello…trick or squeak!?!  I thought he was perfect with the spiderweb and an old spooky door.  The background is part of the latest release, and can be used for so many different occasions.  I thought it was a perfect combination for a Halloween card.

We all get those cute little fairies who ask politely for a bit of candy, then there is always those little rats to make us say “I am glad that is not my child”!  This little rat makes me grin and you can see he is all sorts of trouble.  Give him candy and send him home…his parents deserve it!

Creating this Card:

You can put any cute little character in this scene and it will be spooky-cute!    I stamped the Dungeon Door rubber stamp in a green to match the Mix n Match-2 pattern paper.  After doing some cardstock layers, the background image was added.  I die cut the word “Hello” from the pattern paper to match.  After placing it on the top edge of the card I die cut the spider web out from Spiders and Webs die.  The spider web was placed over the background and onto the “Hello“.

I chose a rat from the Rat Attack clear stamp set.  After coloring him, and hand-cutting him out, I placed him on the lower portion of the card popped up with foam tape.  The simple sentiment was then added to complete the card.
