Sometimes I need a good “dude” card, and I thought this was the perfect die, paper and image combo to create one. I love the bold Happy Birthday Coverplate die as it creates a great background for any birthday card. You can cover up the “to you” portion if you want to utilize that space for the feature image. Another flexible use of this die.
Creating this Card:
The Happy Birthday Coverplate die was cut out twice in white, and then one layer was colored in the black. I layered them with a slight overlap and cut off the extra portions. If you look at the packet of Military papers you will find some that look Camo. I used one for the backdrop as well as the lower portion of the die, covering the words. After die cutting the trees from Tree Assortment die, it was placed in the lower portion of the card with the moose from Moose You clear stamps. I found a sentiment from the Killer Friend stamp set to complete the card.
