Although this post is showcasing a new stamp set called Cocktails, from Whimsy stamps, I really want to talk about creating your own pattern paper. I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE to be able to grab a background stamp, and my favorite ink pad (Catherine Pooler Ink), and create a pattern paper that compliments my card. My favorite backgrounds are from Whimsy Stamps, and you can browse the selection HERE.
These 5.75 x 5.75 rubber stamps allow me to get a crisp image for so many size cards. Using the Catherine Pooler Ink pads allows for an even coverage of the stamp. It is a win, win situation.
I just thought I would put a little bug in your ear to go check out these backgrounds in order to make the perfect pattern paper for your cards. I find it easier then buying a lot of preprinted paper.
