Just A Note – Just4FunCrafts

Here is a shimmery card for you. I rarely use pattern paper, or gold paper for that matter. I was channeling Irina (owner of La-La Land Crafts) for the making of this card. She does wonders with these products, and she loves the shimmy gold cardstock.. I wanted to make a card using my LOVELY OLO purple markers. This stamp was calling to me.

Creating This Card:

I layered the base of the card with gold, purple and white cardstock. After cutting the House Border die in white I applied it to the white layer of the card. This just gives the background a little texture. The Forest die is a great way to create a frame for the card. Instead I used the top and bottom of the die cut for layers. The two largest dies were used for this card, and those layers were popped up. The outer layer was die cut using a paper from the Celebrate pattern paper and the other layer using gold cardstock. I added the sunshine die because it makes me smile.

The image from Showers Of Joy was colored and added to the front of the card, along with a sentiment from the set. I love the three options of characters from this set.
