Squeeeee…bats and boo-sheets, and a whole lot of cuteness coming your way today! I combined the newly released Boo die with a favorite Dustin Pike clear stamp set, to create this “baterrific” card. Now this is a fun Halloween card don’t you think? I love happy pumpkins, and this silly bat is just the best.
I have been getting some great use out of this die and there is more to come over the next few months.
Creating this Card:
I found the great Marble Background stamp in my stash and thought it would be a great addition for the theme. After stamping it in black onto orange card stock, I die cut the center out to create the frame. Popping this layer up onto a darker orange cardstock helped accentuate the marble layer. By adding a white embossed center, this allowed for the image to stand out better.
There are so many cute bats in this clear stamp set, Going Batty, it was hard to choose, but I chose the one with the pumpkins, because it could be colored to match the color of the background papers.
Using the Boo die, I cut out some of the ghosts and the large word and added it to the card. I kept it white to compliment the white border around the orange mat, as well as the white center. This brought all the colors together.
Now go get your BOO on!!

You ‘batted’ another one out of the ballpark Jennifer!! So creative! (You just forgot the color Copic marker colors you used (like on the pumpkins – I like that little tidbit).
