I am sharing today this clear stamp set, Bleat, from Newtons Nook. This set has the perfect sentiments to go with these little goats, and make the perfect birthday themed card. Don’t you think they look like they are all about getting into trouble as goats usually do? I personally love farm animals, and couldn’t wait to color them up.
If you were one of the attendees from Jenn Dove’s Boot Camp, you know that Newtons Nook Designs spoiled us again this year with a fun stamp set. I feel so privileged to give the love back by creating with some of their fun products, and sharing them with you.
Creating this Card:
I colored and cut out the goats for this card, but if you prefer they they do have outline dies available. After stamping the “Happy Birthday” sentiment on white, I airbrushed that layer with some clouds. The airbrushing helps break up some of the white space on a card.
Using the cool Fence die and black cardstock, I created the layer for the goats to peak out from. This layer was popped up off the card front. A bit more dimension was needed, so I cut the green panels out using the long edge scallop from the Frameworks die set.
The last thing was to stamp the last part of the sentiment on white and add some flicks of grass where the remaining goats are standing.
