Are you ready for it? Announcing the new mini-release from Whimsy Stamps. I just couldn’t help but make a kitty card. How many have a cat that watches the fish tank? Do you see the camouflage kitty looking out from behind the “fish tank”?
This actually would be a perfect shaker card, but I am not very good at making shakers. For some reason the shaker stuff gets stuck, or I end up with material escaping, or when taking pictures of them I get a glare. So hats off to all who make such nice shaker cards!!
Instead I decided to just raise up the Kitty Frame using foam tape, and place it over some white Kinetic Waves. Its subtle in the photo but adds some texture. Next I colored up all the little fishies in the Kitty Sketches clear stamp set. After gluing them down inside the frame I added the Nuvo Ripened Pumpkin drops to resemble bubbles.
This layer was placed on one of the papers from the Scribdoodles 6×6 paper with the little kitty poking out from behind it. I love how it matches this stamp set! To finish off the card I added one of the Kitty Sketches sentiments. I think it turned out cute. Be sure and check out the whole release, and come back for more samples this week.
