Looking for a great card for the fishing enthusiast? This might just be the perfect stamp set for that! The new Fishing Fanatics from Whimsy Stamps is now available, and that is what I used to make this fun Fathers day card. I shared the details below.
Creating this Card:
I love this Checkerboard A2 background die, and thought this was the perfect opportunity to use it with the new Fishing Fanatics clear stamp. After die cutting two layers out, I adhered the dark brown cardstock to the back of the pattern paper from the Farmhouse paper packet. By cutting a little off the brown cardstock I was able to shift it to create the shadow. Three of the elements from the stamp set were colored, and then hand cut out. Using the OMG! die I created the layered large sentiment, and popped it up off the card. I know it just sold out, but it is on reorder so get on the “notify me” list for when its back in stock. The fishing elements were added to the OMG! layer, and then I added the word Dad to the card that came from the Dads Day stamp set. I think this set makes the best Fathers Day card, or birthday card.
