Ready For a Hug?

I found this set to be so sweet. I love that the lion and the lamb are friends. We need more love amongst differences, and this one shows it can be done. I had one more image I had colored from this stamp set, so I thought I would whip up a big hug. There are a few stamps left in the store, so if you haven’t grabbed this stamp set there is still time. This would also make a great Valentines day card.

Creating this Card:

I want to point out how much I use the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die. If you look back through my blog you will find how much I love it, and know you will too. After die cutting the white layers, and adding them to the card, I die cut the Big Hugs die and colored it with my black marker. The image was colored and added to the lower portion of the card front, with the “hugs” over it. I finished off the card by adding black dots using my Nuvo Drops.

***A little Nuvo tip – If you want a nice dome drops, make sure your Nuvos are warm. If you use a cold bottle you will get peaks, not domes.
