Forever Grateful

Need a card to send overseas to someone in the military, or a special card for someone close to you, then this might be a stamp set you want to own.  It even recognizes the K9 hero.  I thought I would create a card with minimal coloring.  The only thing I colored was the background paper.  So easy.  Details below.

Creating This Card:

The background was created by drawing wavy lines with my marker.  Once colored I used my Zig Zag Rectangle die to cut it out.  This layer was placed on the card base.  The star paper was created using my favorite Catherine Pooler ink, and the stars from the Military Honoring All clear stamp set.  I placed a piece on the lower portion of the card and stamped a sentiment strip and popped it up on the card.  The main image was stamped with my VersaFine stamp pad because it makes a solid impression (and no coloring with alcohol ink was going to be involved as that would smear).  This layer was again die cut with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle and placed on a colored layer of blue paper.  This layer was adhered to the red stripe paper.  I stamped and layered a sentiment over a small piece of star paper.  I grabbed some star dies, and die cut them, to complete the card.
