I love the simplistic look of this card, and these berries just make me want to smile. Up here in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado the snow is slowly melting, and poking up through the snow is my rhubarb plant. I just love to garden, and dig my fingers in the dirt. That is what this stamp set reminds me of. This set IS berry awesome!
Creating This Card:
I utilized the Checkerboard A2 die for the texture of the card. Behind it I colored paper with my OLO Markers in a teal, and then textured it with a rag and rubbing alcohol. These layers were placed on some paper, edged in red, to compliment the colors of the strawberries. After cutting out the Hello word and shadow die I colored the top layer and popped the letters up. The whole piece was then popped up again off the card layers. I colored, and hand cut out the strawberries in the basket, and popped it up off the “hello”. I finished it off with one of the cute sentiments.

Hey Jen, I miss you and your classes!! Are you conducting any in the area? This is a really cute card!! Hugs to you.
Oh another question. You mentioned that you use a Brithers Scan and Cut so you don’t have to fussy cut everything. What model is it that you use?
